An OGO Duty Manager. Amanda makes wicked coffee and is a bit of a health and beauty guru with a makeup obsession. She also plays in the OGO Indoor Netball team and loves going on epic traveling adventures.
Inventor and Owner of OGO Rotorua. Andrew founded Zorb Ltd back in 1995 and took the Zorb brand global, after being CEO of the company for 11 years, Andrew sold out to business partners in 2006, traveled overseas, invented some cool board games with his brother David and worked on starting the Fishpipe. Andrew came back to New Zealand in 2010 and started OGO on the original Zorb site in Rotorua.
Our Sales & Marketing Manager, Anna has over 10 years tourism marketing experience in Rotorua. She LOVES traveling, almost as much as online shopping! She has been known to make a mean birthday cake on occasion - but don’t ever ask her to make the same design twice!
Wanting to pursue a career in Adventure Tourism, Chaedyn (aka Kyle) came to us after finishing High School. When he's not at work, you'll find Chaedyn out in the forest Mountain biking with Pete or playing touch rugby.
Our Sales & Marketing Executive. After studying for a Bachelor of Communications at Waikato she joined OGO about four years ago. An aspiring instagrammer who likes fishing, garlic pizza and the odd vino (Anna is a bad influence).
Owner of OGO Rotorua & Outdoor Gravity Ltd. David started the first official Zorb site in Rotorua back in 1997 where OGO Rotorua is now located and now runs our International export company Outdoor Gravity NZ Ltd. David is the lead expert in the world on ball rolling site development, product manufacture, design and operational requirements. David also took time out after leaving Zorb to travel with his family overseas before coming back to New Zealand and starting OGO Rotorua.
Together Andrew and Dave also have their own magic show - The "Akers Family Christmas Circus" should sell tickets to the general public.
Liam better watch out for Elyus because he now has competition for the best hairstyle and fashion sense, however some of the socks he wears to work are pretty questionable!
A closet ABBA fan, this dancing queen is the latest OGO recruit, but it feels like shes been part of the OGO family for years. Hayley loves working in the tourism industry, her previous role was as a barista at Skyline Rotorua, and her coffees are pretty darn good! She also wins the contest for the best Pukana at OGO!
We have two words for you; Blonde Bombshell.OGO already holds the titles for world's longest and fastest tracks but we think with this little blondie on our crew we could have potential to take out one more unconventional title - World record for the person who talks the fastest! Don’t believe us? Come on in and see for yourself.
Owner & General Manager of OGO Rotorua, Kelly came to OGO from Zorb after starting out in the factory with David Akers. He went onto become a key member of the Zorb management team working his way up to Operations Manager. Kelly left Zorb in 2010 to join OGO as an owner and part of the management team. Kelly juggles family life with a partner and three gorgeous daughters to managing the busy operational requirements of OGO. Kelly also brings a bit of “BRO” to the company and is proud of the fact he was a milkman for 8 years.
A valued member of the team, Liam has been with us for 5 years. In his spare time you'll find him on the basketball court or Snowboarding. He also makes a pretty mean flat white!
Melissa joined the team at OGO in 2012 after being the General Manager at Agroventures Adventure Park. Having worked in the tourism industry now for 20 years, shes addicted to adventure tourism in particular. Melissa works part time on staff development, HR and special project work (her lively 2.5 year old daughter keeps her hands full the rest of the time) Melissa has a passion for team development and exceptional customer service... but shes also partial to the occasional MTB adventure and a cheeky Friday vino.
Michelle has known Dave, Andrew & Kelly for years having worked with them both at Zorb. Michelle works within Outdoor Gravity manufacturing OGO’s and Fishpipe barrels. Overall Michelle has 14 years’ worth of ball making skills!! CRAZY! Michelle had a couple of years of working as a self-employed contractor between leaving Zorb and joining OGO when she couldn’t bear being away from the team any longer!!
Pete (aka Peach) is one of our Duty Managers at OGO and has a wealth of knowledge from the tourism industry. Pete was also at Zorb in a senior role for 7 years, had a stint at YHA Rotorua before joining the crew at OGO. Pete leads the OGO indoor Netball team, loves MTB, Box Fit and might've once been described as "The Perfect Man".
Sam (aka Skip) joined our Summer crew in 2016 and has been a valued member of the team ever since. Mountain biking is what Sam does in his spare time, his recommended top three tracks in the Whakarewarewa Forest are 1) Billy T 2) Jumps Track & 3) Corridor - for a super sweet fun downhill riding time.
Watch out for this one, her energy will hit you as soon as you walk in the door! Shanyse's bubbly personality and smile is contagious to everyone around her. She is also part of the very exclusive OGO vegetarian club ... (her and Liam are the only members - the rest of us like meat too much)
Our exotic French Canadian and is the second member of Outdoor Gravity team who build our OGO’s and Fishpipe barrels in our onsite factory at OGO Rotorua. Fondly known as ‘Vee’ she makes a kick arse latte and is always wearing a splash of sexy red lipstick no matter what the occasion.
